Hudson is going to be 6 months in just 4 days, I can't believe it! I know everybody says they grow up so fast, but it is so true. Looking back at 5 months, I weighed him on our scale and it had him at 17 pounds, don't know what his height is though.
Stuff he's done:
-he has gotten much better about eating aka. much cleaner when he eats haha
-takes about 3 naps a day
-makes the sounds mama, dada, baba
-blows raspberries
-had his first trip and he did GREAT!!
-sits up on his own(most of the time)
-wants to crawl, he's trying hard
-no teeth yet but teething pretty bad

Finalization day!!
Monday was the day I've been waiting on for a while. We finally went to court and finalized Hudson's adoption!! We have had him for just over 4 months and have anxiously been waiting to have everything done. It could have been sooner but we weren't totally prepared when we got him. We had started our Homestudy process but put it on hold when his adoption fell through, so it took almost a month to get all of the fingerprints, Dr visits, and have the last visit for that and have the social worker type up the report.
None of that matters now though because he is officially ours!!
The adoption order was filed and now we are waiting to get the birth certificate so we can apply for a new social security card, but those are just minor things.
He did great the whole time, we beefed up having to wait about 30 mins because the judge got held up in court. Luckily he wasn't fussy and even shook hands with the judge. Afterwards we went back to my parents house and had some family and friends come over for a small celebration.
My mom got balloons for the 5 babies that we lost and Hudson released them in memory of his angel siblings.
We feel so blessed to have Hudson in our lives and look forward to being a forever family with him!!
